GRP2 - Nationals 2026 Podcast

The Women's Baseball The Inside Pitch GRP2 podcast is back for the 2026 Nationals!

WBIP founder Amy McCann is teaming up with fellow Emeralds alumni Amy Cannington to bring you all the nationals news via our "Girls Are Players Too" podcast series.

The series will count down to the 2026 Australian Women’s and Australian Youth Women’s Championships which will take over Melbourne Ballpark from April 12-18.

On the MIC

Two Emeralds. Two multiple national champions. Two Amys.

Amy McCann is seven-time national champion with Victoria (2003-2014), while Amy Cannington (née Collins) is one of the few to win gold in two states, representing both Victoria and New South Wales (2011-2020).

Each week in a dedicated episode for each state team, the pair will bring their expert insights and knowledge to the mic to dissect each Women's roster, chat with some of Australia’s best players, mix in a little Nationals history, and more.

Episodes dropping every Thursday from March 12!

The pair will be back behind the broadcast mics at the 2026 Nationals, so who better to bring you the ins and outs and goss and more from each of the five state teams.
